Turn Up Downtown

There’s 1014 ways to accidentally spend all day downtown!

The heart of our city is bustling with activity and events across our downtown public spaces in partnership with local partners, businesses and community organizations.

With a vibrant mix of activities popping up in places like Michael Phair Park, Beaver Hills House Park, Alex Decoteau Park, O-day’min Park and Sir Winston Churchill Square, Centennial Plaza and LRT stations, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

It’s time to Turn Up Downtown and explore all the downtown has to offer.

This summer, the Rice Howard Way Entertainment District will feature a Summer Block Party Series in partnership with local businesses and festival. The 104 Street Entertainment District will be open during the Downtown Farmers’ Market.
