Public Skating
Drop-in skating opportunities are available year-round for members and non-members of our facilities. Helmets are not required, but are highly recommended.
Equipment not permitted during drop-in skating includes: strollers, sleds, hockey sticks, pucks, and balls. Please leave any valuables at home or lock them up at the facility where available.
Shinny Hockey
Drop-in shinny opportunities are available at select facilities for “pick up” hockey. Full equipment is required, including shoulder pads, helmets and mask or visor. During the school breaks including summer, child/youth shinny is available.
Member Skating/Shinny Hockey Registration and Payment
Register online for your member/admission skating and shinny hockey spot.
Member skating and shinny are included in Benefits Plus memberships. Non-members must purchase admission. Paying for skating or shinny admission provides full access to all facility amenities.

Book Your Spot
Advanced online registration is strongly encouraged for shinny as it fills up quickly.
After Registering: At the Facility
- Check in at the front counter, indicate you registered and you will be given a wristband with a stamp
- Proceed to the arena and check in with the skate monitor who will validate your wristband before the program
- All validated participants can proceed to the change room
Capacity
- Shinny capacity: 26 players, not including goalies
- Member/skating capacity: 75 participants
