Jane Batty Biography

Jane Batty balances professional experience with community involvement. As Vice President of Operations for Denny Andrews Inc., she managed the company's interests for 13 years until her election to Council in 2001.

Her extensive corporate experience is equaled only by the varied work she has done in the community. She is a member of the Edmonton Space and Science Foundation and is the Past President of the Edmonton Glenora Rotary Club. These diverse experiences are further augmented by her past involvement on committees such as the Edmonton Police Commission, Capital City Downtown Plan Advisory Committee, IAAF 2005 World Half Marathon Championship, the World Cup Triathlon, University of Alberta Senate, Edmonton Northlands, Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation and in her work with Council.
