112 Avenue Reconstruction: Get Informed

The City of Edmonton is inviting the public to learn more about future plans to reconstruct 112 Avenue between 50 Street and 68 Street. A meeting will be held to share information about a recommendation to be presented to Council in March 2013.

Date: Tuesday January 29, 2013
Time: 4 - 8pm
Location: Sands Hotel, 12340 Fort Road

A presentation will be given at 4:30pm and again at 6:30pm.

During the fall of 2012, citizens provided feedback on a possible traffic lane reduction; impacts to vehicle, pedestrian and cycling traffic; and ideas for aesthetic features and landscaping. The project team considered the public’s input, as well as technical elements, when making its final recommendation.

Design for the project is scheduled for 2013, with construction planned for 2014.
