In celebration of the United Nations International Year for People of African Descent, join Mayor Stephen Mandel at Africa Connect.

Free afternoon events offer the chance to discover, experience, and learn about the vibrant cultures among local African communities. Shop in the marketplace of over 100 exhibitors. Be inspired by local African talent – musicians, dancers, artists, and poets. Take in learning sessions on topics related to local African cultures and communities.
Top off the afternoon with a gala dinner. Then dance the night away to the breezy vibes of Juno award winners African Guitar Summit, with special guest Jampara.
