Test the Upgraded Transit Trip Planner

Edmonton Transit System (ETS) is excited to announce the beta launch of its revised ETS Trip Planner. ETS is inviting people to try the beta (test) version of the upgraded trip planner and send in their feedback through the report-a-bug and feedback links on the test site.
Developed jointly by ETS and the City’s Information Technology Branch, some of the new trip planner features include:
- Integration and automation of detours and bus stop closure alerts into its online tools
- Improved usability and layout of the interface
- A new engine for quicker results and better trip solutions
- A school service summary that is searchable by school session (summer vs regular school term)
The test period will take place from September 27th until the end of October. Feedback will be used by ETS to refine the trip planner prior to its full launch, which is slated for November 2011.
