What are City Services Worth to You?
September 16, 2011
A series of meetings and an online survey will ask Edmontonians their priorities for our city and what they think is a fair cost for public services.
The results of the public consultation from the meetings and online survey on “Your City, Your Services” will be provided to City Council to consider in their discussions on the 2012 operating budget, and public input will help guide how services are implemented next year.

City staff will be on hand to discuss the 2012 budget process, what your taxes and fees pay for, and to listen to Edmontonians beliefs about value for their household dollars.
Edmontonians will be asked to talk about their household cost pressures, the City services that are important to them, and perceptions about fair taxes for services. The City has developed a long-term strategic plan based on previous public input on 10-year goals for our community. Edmontonians are asked for feedback on the objectives that guide our progress to those goals.
