Eco Stations and the Edmonton Waste Management Centre (EWMC) are no longer accepting tires from commercial customers.
Residents will be limited to 8 tires per day (includes passenger vehicle, motorcycle and ATV tires).
Limiting tire drop-off to residents ensures storage space is prioritized for the disposal of other items at Eco Stations and the EWMC, such as household hazardous waste, electronics, appliances and more.
The Edmonton Waste Management Centre (EWMC) is a unique collection of waste processing facilities. Garbage, food scraps and recycling collected from Edmonton homes is brought here.
Bring elm wood to the Edmonton Waste Management Centre for free for residents. Elm wood must be sorted separately from other yard waste. Tell the scale operator that you have elm wood.
The EMWC accepts waste from residents and businesses. Learn more about what we accept and how much it will cost.
Sorted and baled at the Materials Recovery Facility, then sent to markets around the world.
