Collection Schedule
Weekly waste collection began on February 5, 2013. Your collection day will remain the same year-round, including statutory holidays. The only exception will be Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Residents are asked to check this website for alternative days closer to those dates.
To find your weekly waste collection day
Check the Collection Schedule Map
Visit the Neighbourhood Maps page and follow the instructions below.
Enter your house number into the "House No." field.
- Enter street or avenue into the "Street" field.
Note: Most Edmonton houses are in the NW quadrant (west of Meridian [1st] Street and north of 1st Avenue). - Click the 'Find Address' button.
- Click on the 'Waste Pickup Sched' tab and the collection day for your address will be displayed.
To receive a collection schedule via email
Send an email to wasteman@edmonton.ca stating you would like a collection schedule. Include your complete address (including quadrant if other than NW). A schedule will be emailed to you by the end of the next working day.
