Clients are welcome to order catering, bring in their own food, or order from an external
vendor.
With consent from your Facility Representative and a valid liquor permit, alcohol can be served provided it is handled by people that have Pro-Serve. Failure to display the liquor permit will prohibit the service and consumption of alcohol. For information on the permits required for your event please contact the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission at 780-447-8600.
If you are planning a special event that includes live or recorded music of any kind, you are required to pay licence fee to SOCAN and Re-Sound. The Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN) and Re:Sound Music Licensing Company (Re:Sound) are collective societies. These collective societies can charge tariffs for the performance of music in public, according to section 19(2)(a) of the Copyright Act.
