Connect With Our Roots and National Indigenous History Month Launch
Date: Saturday June 1, 2024
Time: 10am-12:30pm
Location: 210 Dunvegan Road NW
June is recognized as National Indigenous History Month in Canada to honour the history, heritage and diversity of Indigenous Peoples.
In partnership with the City's Root for Trees program, the City of Edmonton is proud to celebrate Indigenous culture and ‘connecting with our roots’ by hosting a launch event to support community learning on how Indigenous knowledge connects with nature, including the native species we plant on Treaty Six Territory.
Join us for a tree planting event, along with various Indigenous-led performances and activities in our celebration!
