The downtown pedways are a vital tool that Edmontonians use to get around in a way that is safe, fast, and accessible.

As two-thirds of the pedways are privately owned, building owners may change the hours the pedways are open for a variety of reasons. The City of Edmonton is working with our downtown business partners to provide pedway users with the information they need to access the pedways when and where they need it.

The downtown pedways network is now included in the Discover YEG map.
