Eco Stations and the Edmonton Waste Management Centre (EWMC) are no longer accepting tires from commercial customers.
Residents will be limited to 8 tires per day (includes passenger vehicle, motorcycle and ATV tires).
Limiting tire drop-off to residents ensures storage space is prioritized for the disposal of other items at Eco Stations and the EWMC, such as household hazardous waste, electronics, appliances and more.
The Edmonton Waste Management Centre (EWMC) accepts waste from residents and non-residential customers.
Non-Residential waste includes waste dropped off by businesses, institutions and charities. Waste from junk removal, property management and landscaping companies is considered non-residential.

Your disposal fee is determined by the weight of your load and the type of waste you are dropping off.
Please note:
Certain types of waste require pre-approval for disposal at EWMC. Some also require a Waste Identification Number (WID#) and a manifest. A disposal fee of $137 per tonne (minimum charge of $137) applies to these materials.
