Rehabilitation work on the Beverly Bridge is scheduled to begin in 2025. This project will extend the bridge’s lifespan and improve safety for all users.
Project Update - April 2025
Rehabilitation work on the Beverly Bridge is underway. Bridge construction is necessary to ensure the bridge remains safe and functional for the next 30 years.
Rehabilitation will take approximately two construction seasons and is expected to be completed by the end of 2026. Construction work will be done in two phases to minimize traffic impacts. Stage 1 starts in 2025 and includes work on the south side of the bridge. Stage 2 starts in 2026 and includes work on the north side of the bridge.
During this project, the bridge will temporarily be reduced to two lanes from spring 2025 to fall 2026. The bridge will be reopened to three lanes of traffic over the 2025/2026 winter.
Pedestrian access to the trail under the bridge will remain open during construction. To ensure the safety of pedestrians, hoarding will be installed during overhead work.
