Project Update - June 2024
A What We Heard report summarizing the first phase of engagement is now available.
In the summer of 2024, a second engagement round will occur. This will include an online survey and an in-person event. Details will be released closer to the engagement period.
Project Overview
In September 2023, the City of Edmonton opened the Northeast River Valley Park after purchasing the land from a private seller. The City opened Northeast River Valley Park with the existing amenities onsite and is now looking to set the Strategic Plan for the park. A series of public engagement events will be held to allow Edmontonians to weigh in on how they use the park now and how they’d like to be able to use it in the future.
This project is not currently funded for construction.
